	Biography Matt Holt is the youngest of eight children. No, his family is not Catholic. However, they do drink, swear and gamble. They just don't believe in repenting for it. Raised by humorous parents who had seen it all before, Matt was guided by the following advice: "If we are going to get called to the principal's office, you better make it for something original". That was the green light he needed to become the class clown. Shortly after graduation, he began working for a major telecommunications company. He survived corporate America for fifteen years before finally throwing up his hands to surrender. Also during this time, in need of various small appliances, Matt entered into the blissful institution of marriage. The state of bliss lasted a few months, the marriage lasted nine years and ended with the division of everything he owned and the addition of a beautiful daughter, Emily. Today, Matt is lucky enough to have found a wonderful and supportive woman, Jonelle, with whom he plans on the spending the rest of his life. It is from this grounded and chaotic life history that Matt has developed his comedic edge and sensibility. He bases his humor on these experiences and never misses an opportunity to laugh at himself. Audiences appreciate Matt's quick wit and relaxed style.
